Decorative column wrap is a polyurethane outer-layer application that covers the surface of an existing column. It is used to give a bare concrete, steel or wooden column a classical or modern appearance; it is applied in living rooms, entrances and commercial spaces. The polyurethane material is light and is applied to the column surface with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than stone and plaster cladding, it installs quickly and cleanly and adds no extra structural load. Because it is mould-cast, the surface texture repeats identically across every piece.
