A decorative corner element is a polyurethane ornamental piece used to neatly complete the profile joint at wall, ceiling, or frame corners. It is chosen at cornice and architrave corners and at panel and frame ends to finish the corner without mitre-cutting. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. A ready-made corner element speeds up installation and gives a clean joint. Cast in a mould, the pattern repeats identically on every piece.
