Decorative furniture crowns are relief polyurethane crown pieces that ornament the top edge of furniture. They are used on the top of furniture such as wardrobes, headboards, cabinets and display units to create a classical finish and top accent. The polyurethane crown is lightweight and is applied to the top edge of the furniture with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted to match the furniture colour. Being light and flat-faced compared to a carved wood crown, it is easy to install. Because it is mould-produced, the crown motif repeats identically on every piece.
