decorative carved motif
A decorative carved motif is a polyurethane ornamental element with raised patterns that look like carving on its surface. In classic architecture it imitates the look of hand-carved woodwork and is used to decorate walls, ceilings, doors and furniture surfaces. The polyurethane material is light and applies directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Unlike carved wood it is not affected by moisture and it is lighter; compared with a plaster equivalent it is more break-resistant. Because it is moulded, the carving details repeat with the same sharpness on every piece. Polure produces decorative carved motifs in a range of patterns and sizes.
