Decorative Pilaster Crown

A decorative pilaster crown is a polyurethane finishing element that sits on the upper part of a pilaster and crowns the shaft. Mounted at the top of a wall-mounted pilaster shaft, it provides upper ornamentation at the transition between the shaft and the ceiling or cornice. It can be produced in different motifs according to classical orders. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; unlike a stone equivalent it adds no structural load and labour is faster. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the crown details repeat identically on every piece.
