Decorative Relief Motif

A decorative relief motif is an ornament that defines a specific pattern or figure set within a polyurethane raised surface. It includes repeating patterns such as leaves, flowers, scrolls or geometric figures, and is used on wall panels, ceiling roses, cornices and frames to add a motif to the surface. The polyurethane material is light and fixes directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and takes paint. It is lighter than a plaster or wood motif and installs faster, holding no water. Because it is mould-cast, the motif detailing repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces the decorative relief motif in a range of pattern and size options.
