Decorative ceiling coving is a profiled polyurethane finishing element applied to the corner where the ceiling meets the wall. Coving is used to frame the ceiling edge, soften the corner, and, where needed, create a back recess for concealed lighting. It is a core element of ceiling decoration in classic and modern interiors. Polyurethane coving is lighter than traditional plaster coving; it is applied with mounting adhesive and does not crumble in damp environments. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lightweight, it installs quickly without loading the ceiling.
