Decorative ceiling systems are a coordinated set of polyurethane elements such as medallions, cornices, panels and mouldings used together to decorate the ceiling as a whole. They are applied in living rooms, hallways and commercial spaces to give the ceiling a complete decorative scheme. The polyurethane elements are light and can be fitted by one person with construction adhesive. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted in a single colour for a unified look. Being lighter than their plaster equivalents, they add no extra load to the ceiling and install quickly. As they are moulded, all parts of the system match one another.
