An exterior facade coving profile is a polyurethane border element with a specific cross-section, used for horizontal lines and transition zones on a building's outer facade. It is used to create a continuous profile line at wall-to-eave or floor transitions. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. It resists moisture, rain and sun; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster profiles, outdoors it does not absorb moisture or break, and it is far lighter than stone, so long pieces are easily carried and applied.
