exterior facade cove

An exterior facade cove is a polyurethane profile that joins the corner between a wall and a ceiling, eave or two surfaces on a building's outer facade in a soft curved form. It is used to soften sharp corners and give transitions a clean line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. It resists moisture, rain and UV; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster coves, outdoors it does not absorb moisture or break, and it is far lighter than stone, so it is applied quickly along the corner. Because it is mould-produced, the cove radius and profile continue the same along its full length. Polure produces exterior facade coves in different radii and sizes.
