Exterior Facade Precast Surround

An exterior facade precast surround is a polyurethane surround element with a precast (mold-cast) appearance that frames window and door edges. It provides the form of a traditional precast concrete surround; it highlights the opening and adds an architectural frame to the facade. Polyurethane is lightweight and resists moisture, frost and outdoor weather; it does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. Since it is mold-cast, the surround profile repeats identically on every piece.
