Exterior Facade Surround Applications

Exterior facade surround applications cover the process of fitting polyurethane surround elements around windows and doors. In the application, the facade surface is cleaned, the surrounds are cut to size and fixed to the facade with construction adhesive and, where needed, screws; the joints are filled with filler. The polyurethane surrounds are lightweight, so application on tall facades is faster; they resist moisture, frost and impact, do not absorb water, crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. They require less labor and handling than plaster and stone equivalents. Because they are cast in moulds, the section of the fitted surrounds repeats identically on every piece.
