Exterior column installation refers to mounting polyurethane column, capital and base elements onto a building facade. On entrance, balcony and terrace facades, the column shaft is fixed with adhesive and, where needed, with dowels, and the capital and base are added to the shaft. Polyurethane elements are lightweight, so they can be carried and installed by one person; they resist moisture, rain and outdoor weather, do not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Installation is faster than with stone or concrete and adds no extra load to the facade. Because they are mould-cast, the dimensions and profile details of all pieces repeat identically.
