Wall Trim Panelling Motifs

Wall trim panelling motifs are the repeating relief patterns found on the surface of polyurethane trim used in panelling. Classic motifs such as bead, egg-and-dart, fluting and braid are worked along the trim. They are used to accent panel edges and frame borders on living room and bedroom walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds straight to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and takes paint well. Because it is mould-cast, the motif detail stays crisp and repeats identically on every piece; it is more economical than carved wood and lighter than plaster. Polure produces wall trim panelling motifs in a range of patterns and sizes.
