Wall trim panelling and wainscoting is the practice of dividing a wall surface with polyurethane trim to create framed panels and arranging those panels with profile or board elements. The trims draw the panel borders, while the wainscoting completes the inside of those sections with plain or patterned surfaces. It is used for a classic and neoclassical look on living room, bedroom, hallway and staircase walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds straight to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and takes paint well.
