The trims draw the panel borders, while the wainscoting completes the inside of those sections with plain or patterned surfaces. It is used for a classic and neoclassical look on living room, bedroom, hallway and staircase walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds straight to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and takes paint well.
