A wall niche is a polyurethane frame and decoration element that surrounds and highlights a recessed cavity on the wall surface. It is used to create a recessed area for a decorative object, lighting or artwork on living room, hallway and bedroom walls. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because the frame profiles are cast in a mould, the edges are neat and match one another. Compared with its plaster counterpart it installs quickly and adds no extra load to the wall.
