Plain Ceiling Strip

A plain ceiling strip is a polyurethane strip with a simple, flat cross-section, applied to the ceiling-to-wall joint. It is used to close the joint line with a slim profile and give the room a plain frame; it takes up less space than a wide cornice. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture and does not warp; unlike plaster it does not break and installs quickly. The flat cross-section makes mitre corner joints easy.
