Concealed Light Channel Coving

Concealed light channel coving is a channelled polyurethane coving profile used at the ceiling-to-wall junction that can hold an LED strip behind it. While framing the ceiling edge, it also provides indirect lighting through the LED placed in its hidden channel. It is used in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways as both a decorative border and ambient lighting. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Because the channel is mould-cast to suit the LED strip size, the strip seats properly and the light reflects evenly. Being far lighter than plaster coving, it adds no load to the ceiling edge.
