lightweight precast

Lightweight precast reproduces the look of concrete precast using polyurethane and is a facade decoration element that is easy to install thanks to its low weight. It is used to create architectural details such as door surrounds, banding, window sills and columns on building facades without the need to cast concrete. Polyurethane is much lighter than real concrete, so it adds no extra structural load to the facade, requires no crane, and is mounted with a combination of adhesive and dowels. It resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the profile details are identical on every piece. Polure produces lightweight precast elements in different sections and sizes.
