Interior wall cladding is the process of covering an interior wall surface with patterned or plain polyurethane panels. It is used to add texture, depth or a unified look to walls in areas such as living rooms, bedrooms and behind TV units. Polyurethane cladding panels are lightweight and applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell and can be painted any colour. Compared with plaster panels, they are carried without breaking, and unlike wood cladding they do not absorb moisture and deform, and installation is faster. Because they are mould-cast, the panel pattern repeats identically in every piece, and panels are added to form a large surface.
