interior panel

An interior panel is a plain or patterned polyurethane cladding element mounted on interior walls and surfaces. It is used to divide a wall, add texture or create a unified cladding in areas such as living rooms, bedrooms and entrances. The polyurethane panel is lightweight and applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted any colour. Compared with plaster panels, installation is faster and cleaner, and unlike wood alternatives it does not absorb moisture and swell. Because it is mould-cast, the panel pattern is the same on every piece, and panels are added side by side to form a large surface. Polure produces interior panels in a range of patterns and sizes.
