An interior corbel is a polyurethane decorative support element fitted under walls and shelves or at cornice corners, giving the appearance of carrying the load from above. It is used as a decorative support and corner ornament under consoles, shelves, cornices and at transition corners. The polyurethane corbel is lightweight and applied directly to the surface with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted any colour. Compared with plaster alternatives, it is carried without breaking and installs faster, and unlike wood it does not absorb moisture and deform.
