A square decorative motif is a relief-patterned polyurethane decorative element arranged within a square frame. It is used to create geometric ornamentation and a focal point on a wall or ceiling surface. The polyurethane is lightweight and applies directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster it is lighter and more resistant to breakage. Because the pieces are mould-cast, the motif detail repeats identically on every unit.
