Coffered ceiling application is the process of installing polyurethane coffered ceiling pieces onto the ceiling through the steps of measuring, cutting and gluing. First, the pattern lines are marked on the ceiling, then the profiles and panels are fixed in turn with construction adhesive and aligned at the joints. It is carried out on living room, office and entrance hall ceilings. Because the polyurethane pieces are lightweight, they make working at height easier; they break less than plaster or wood and shorten installation time. The material resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour after application. Joint filler is applied at the seams to give the surface a single-piece look.
