Facade String Course And Sill

Facade string course and sill refer to a polyurethane exterior facade application where a string course profile that separates storeys horizontally is used together with a sill profile that throws water off below the window. The string course gives the facade a horizontal line, while the sill directs rainwater coming from beneath the window away from the wall and protects the facade. They are applied together on villa, apartment and commercial building facades. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with construction adhesive; it resists moisture, sun and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. The sloped top surface of the sill lets water run off, reducing staining and damp build-up beneath the window. Since it is mould-cast, the profile sections stay the same on every piece.
