Arched Niche Decoration

Arched niche decoration is decoration made by giving an arch form to the top of a wall niche (recess). It is used in wall niches where vases, lighting or objects are placed, to give the top edge of the opening an arched look. Polyurethane arch profiles are produced to suit the radius of the niche and join with edge pieces to frame the niche. The polyurethane material is light, and because the arch form is mould-produced it runs evenly along the curve; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. It is fixed directly to the wall with adhesive, lighter and faster to apply than plaster or wood. Polure produces arched niche profiles in different radius and width options.
