Under-beam Support

An under-beam support is a polyurethane decorative element placed on the underside of a beam on a ceiling or facade, giving the appearance of supporting the beam. In classical-style interiors it is used to add a console effect beneath or at the ends of decorative beams. It is mostly in a console or corbel form and creates a visual load-bearing emphasis. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied to the surface with mounting adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and is paintable. It is lighter and faster to install than its wooden equivalent. Being mould-cast, the details repeat identically on all pieces. Polure produces under-beam support elements in different size options.
