beam end cap
A beam end cap is a polyurethane decorative piece that covers the exposed end cross-section of a decorative beam. In classical and rustic ceiling designs it is used at points where beam ends emerge from the wall or terminate, to hide the cut beam cross-section and give the end a neat finish. It closes the end gap of U-profile beam claddings. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and is paintable. Being lighter than its wooden equivalent, installation is fast. Being mould-cast, the cap profile repeats identically on every piece and works in harmony with beam claddings. Polure produces the beam end cap to match different beam sizes.
