classic wall column capital
A classic wall column capital is a polyurethane decorative capital element placed on a wall-mounted half column or pilaster, joining the column shaft to the ceiling. On interior and façade walls it is used as the top ornamentation of pilaster applications. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and plaster equivalents, it is easily mounted in high positions. Because it is cast from a mould, the acanthus, Ionic or Doric capital detail comes out the same on every piece. Polure produces classic wall column capitals in a range of sizes and styles.
