Classic Floor String Course

A classic floor string course is a polyurethane band element with classical architectural profiles that horizontally separates floors on a building facade. By drawing a horizontal line between floors it visually separates the sections and gives the facade order. The polyurethane material is light and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, sunlight and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Thanks to the polyurethane structure suited to exterior conditions, it is much lighter than a stone or plaster string course and installs quickly. Because it is mould-produced, the profile dimensions are standard. Polure produces classic floor string courses in a range of widths and profile options.
