Classic relief decoration is the work of decorating polyurethane surfaces with raised pieces bearing classical motifs. It is used on walls, ceilings and panel surfaces to create a classical look with raised elements such as garlands, leaves and medallions. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the decoration details repeat identically on each piece, and since the total weight is low compared with plaster, installation is fast.
