classic ornamentation

Classic ornamentation is polyurethane decorative trim made with relief, moulding and motif elements specific to classical architecture. It is used to emphasise the classic style on surfaces such as ceilings, walls, columns and surrounds. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is lighter and more break-resistant than plaster ornamentation and, unlike timber, is not affected by moisture. Because each piece is mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically across every unit. Polure produces classic ornamentation elements in cornice, ceiling medallion, column capital and motif groups in various sizes.
