Classic ceiling coving consists of classically profiled polyurethane ornamental elements applied to the ceiling edge and surface; it is the polyurethane equivalent of plaster coving. Being made of polyurethane, it is lighter, does not crack, is moisture-resistant and is faster to install. It functions as a cornice at the ceiling-wall junction and as a border/panel within the ceiling. It is used indoors to frame the ceiling and give a classical look. The polyurethane material is light and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster coving, installation is fast and the risk of breakage and dust is low. Because it is mould-cast, it repeats evenly along the profile and motif.
