Classic Villa Column Design

Classic villa column design is the general name for planning a classical-style polyurethane column used at a villa entrance and facade together with its shaft, capital and base. It is applied under the entrance canopy, at facade corners and at terrace entrances as a decorative element with a load-bearing appearance. Polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed in place with a mounting system; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than stone and concrete, it makes handling and installation easier. The column shaft may be plain or fluted, and the capital may follow different classical orders (Doric, Ionic, Corinthian-like).
