Hallway wall moulding strip is a slim polyurethane profile strip used to create horizontal or vertical lines along hallway walls. It divides the wall surface into sections, defines panel borders and adds movement to plain walls. It is usually fixed at equal intervals to produce a panelled look. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike timber strips it is unaffected by moisture, and compared with plaster it is lighter and more resistant to breakage. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section is identical on every piece, which gives clean joints along long hallway runs.
