Rafter Tail Cap Models

A rafter tail cap is a polyurethane covering piece used to close off the exposed timber rafter ends that project at roof eaves. It is mounted under the eaves in front of the rafter heads and gives the facade a tidy finish. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive and screws; outdoors it resists moisture, sunlight and impact, does not rot, crack or absorb water and can be painted. Unlike timber it is unaffected by moisture and needs no maintenance. Because it is moulded, every cap has the same size and detail.
