architectural facade panel

An architectural facade panel is a polyurethane plate element used to clad the exterior surface of a building and give the facade texture or pattern. It is mounted as cladding over large surfaces on the facade or as a decorative accent in specific areas. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive and mechanical fixings; outdoors it resists moisture, sunlight and impact, does not crack, swell or warp and can be painted. Because it is far lighter than stone or concrete, it adds no extra load to the facade. Because it is moulded, the panel pattern repeats identically on every piece.
