Architectural Support

An architectural support is a polyurethane element that acts as a decorative and visual support beneath a shelf, console, eave or projection. It is mounted between a wall and a horizontal element to serve as both ornamentation and a visual sense of carrying. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp and can be painted. Compared with a timber or stone support it is far lighter and can be installed by one person. Because it is moulded, the profile and details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces architectural support elements in different sizes and model options.
