Architectural Support

An architectural support is a polyurethane element that acts as a decorative and visual support beneath a shelf, console, eave or projection. It is mounted between a wall and a horizontal element to serve as both ornamentation and a visual sense of carrying. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp and can be painted. Compared with a timber or stone support it is far lighter and can be installed by one person. Because it is moulded, the profile and details repeat identically on every piece.
