Architectural Columns And Pilasters

Architectural columns and pilasters are a group of polyurethane decorative elements that shape the structural or visual vertical features of a space. A column is a free-standing cylindrical body, while a pilaster is a flat-faced column form that is partly embedded in the wall. They are used to create a classical order in living rooms, entrance halls, facades and column cladding, and are applied together with capital, shaft and base sections. Polyurethane is lighter than plaster or wood and is fitted over an existing column with construction adhesive and screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted in any colour. Because the parts are mould-cast, the flutes and profile details repeat identically on every piece.
