Modern study room design refers to the arrangement of clean-lined, functional work spaces; in these spaces, polyurethane wall panels, slats and under-shelf borders are used as decorative elements. The polyurethane panels provide acoustic and visual division on the wall, while the slats create plain linear surfaces. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to mount than wood and more break-resistant than plaster. Because it is mould-cast, panel and slat details are identical on every piece.
