modern cornice

A modern cornice is a clean-section, flat-lined ceiling profile used at the junction of ceiling and wall. It is used on living room, bedroom, office and hall ceilings to define the junction line with an orderly profile and, in most cases, to create a concealed lighting channel. The polyurethane cornice is lightweight and applied directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Compared with plaster cornices it is lighter, not brittle, and installs faster with less waste. Because it is mould-cast, the section is identical on every piece.
