Modern ceiling cornice is a flat-lined, plain-section polyurethane ceiling cornice applied to the ceiling edge. It frames the junction of the ceiling and wall and gives a neat transition line. Unlike classic ornamented cornices, understated and crisp profiles are preferred; models with a concealed LED channel inside are also used. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Compared with plaster cornice it does not break and installs faster. Once painted it blends with the ceiling colour. Polure produces modern ceiling cornice in flat and light-channel section options.
