Modern ceiling profiles are a group of flat-lined, plain-section polyurethane decoration elements used on the ceiling edge and surface. They are offered in various widths and sections for ceiling-wall transition, concealed lighting cornice and surface segmentation. Unlike classic ornamented profiles, understated and crisp sections are preferred. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike plaster it does not break, unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture, and it installs faster. Once painted it blends with the ceiling colour.
