Polyurethane elements are lightweight, applied directly with assembly adhesive, and cut to size; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster equivalents speeds up installation and produces no dust. Because they are mould-produced, there is no size variation between profiles.
