An authentic ceiling rose is a relief decorative element with traditional motifs applied to the centre of the ceiling; it usually surrounds the point where the chandelier is hung. It is used to give a traditional appearance to the ceilings of living rooms, halls and commercial spaces. When made of polyurethane the rose is light and is applied directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is resistant to moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, and can be painted to match the ceiling colour or in metallic tones. Being much lighter than its plaster equivalent, ceiling installation is safe and fast. Because it is mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically on every piece.
