window arch surround

A window arch surround is a polyurethane surround profile that wraps the curve of a window's upper arch. Unlike straight side surrounds, it is produced curved to fit the arch's curvature and emphasises the upper arch of the window. It is used on facades and indoors for framing arched windows. It is mould-cast from polyurethane; it is light, applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive, and resistant to moisture and impact. It does not crack or swell and can be painted; on exterior facades it is durable against sun and rain. Being light compared to plaster and stone equivalents makes installation at height easier. Mould production ensures the curved cross-section is compatible with the side surrounds. Polure produces the window arch surround in the same cross-section as the side surround and sill elements, so the arched and straight sections join seamlessly.
