Plinth Plate

A plinth plate is a flat, slab-shaped polyurethane base or pedestal piece placed under an element in decoration to raise and support it. It is used in interior and exterior spaces as a support and transition element beneath items such as columns, vases, sculptures or planters. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted; it is applied directly with mounting adhesive. Being far lighter than its concrete or plaster equivalent, it is easy to carry and position. Because it is mould-cast, the profile and edge details repeat identically on every piece.
