Polyurethane Baluster Railing

A polyurethane baluster railing is a railing system in which vertical balusters (uprights) are arranged between the handrail and the base rail. It is used on balconies, terraces and stairs to create a classic-architecture-look railing. The material is lightweight and is applied with mounting adhesive or a mechanical connection; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and takes paint well. Outdoors, unlike plaster it is unaffected by moisture and temperature change, unlike timber it does not rot, and it is lighter than concrete. A metal inner core can be used for load-bearing strength. Because each piece is cast from a mould, the balusters repeat in exactly the same form. Polure produces baluster railings in a range of heights and models.
