Decorative polyurethane ceiling solutions is the general name for the polyurethane products used to arrange a ceiling surface for decorative purposes. It covers pieces such as ceiling roses, coving, cornices, coffered ceiling panels and medallions; they are applied around lighting fixtures and along ceiling edges. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the ceiling with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a plaster equivalent, ceiling installation can be done quickly by a single person. Since it is mould-cast, the surface patterns repeat identically on every piece.
