Polyurethane Door Pediments

Polyurethane door pediments are the various polyurethane versions of the upper ornamental elements that crown a door, placed above door openings. Offered in different widths, profiles and motifs, these parts are used above door surrounds to add emphasis to the door. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall or above the surround with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted after priming to match the colour of the room. Compared with stone or plaster pediments they are lighter and faster to install, and unlike wood they are not affected by moisture. Because they are mould-cast, the pediment profiles and motif details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces door pediments in a range of models and sizes.
